Banff Airporter® Fine Print

We are happy to make changes to your booking. Please note that excessive changes/modifications may result in a $10 fee.

All methods of reserving require VISA, MasterCard or AMEX payments at the time of booking to secure bookings. When you receive a confirmation number, the booking is actually made and likewise confirmed. If you don’t get one, please let us know.

All scheduled reservations are transferable, changes in bookings are free of charge and unused portions of travel qualify for a refund. Refunds apply when you contact us prior to your travel time.
For bookings departing Banff & Canmore; “no shows” are charged a reactivation fee of $25 if we are contacted on the day of travel. Otherwise the booking is non refundable.

Clients departing on scheduled services from Calgary Intl Airport are asked to check in at the Banff Airporter® Desk located on the Main Arrivals Level, between exit doors 5 & 6 (inside the terminal).

As the 22:30 is our last departure for the night, we have the following departure rules:

  • If your flight information is provided and your flight arrives before 22:15, we will hold the bus no later than 22:45.
  • If your flight information is provided and your flight arrives after 22:15, the shuttle will leave at 22:30.
  • If your flight information is incorrect or not provided, the shuttle will leave at 22:30.

The goal of this policy it to strike a balance between leaving on time and allowing customers a few extra minutes to make the bus. Please provide us with your latest flight details so can plan accordingly. If you miss the 22:30 departure, you have the following options:

  • Take a taxi or a private transfer to Banff/Canmore – availability and rates may vary
  • Allied Limousine 403-299-9555 | Associated Taxi – 403-299-1111
  • Stay in Calgary and take a transfer the next day

If you miss our 22:30 departure and choose not to travel with us the following day, you must contact us within the next 48 hours to arrange for a booking refund.

Travellers without reservations will be accommodated on a stand-by basis, subject to seat availability.

The Banff Airporter® does door-to-door pickups in Banff. Please be ready 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time and expect us no later than 15 minutes past your scheduled pickup time.

Banff Airporter® is not responsible for delays caused by weather and road hazards. In the rare event of a missed flight or event due to a vehicle breakdown compensation is limited to the cost of that leg of travel.

Although we love animals, due to allergies and so on, pets are not permitted with the exception of service animals.

Luggage Allowance: We operate much like the airlines in that the total number of bags permitted is the same. So if you arrived by air, there should be no restrictions other than those experienced with the airline. Please be sure to box all bikes and skis and let us know if you have any oversized items like cellos or stand up basses.

We are not responsible for damage to luggage or personal items during transfer. Lost and found items are up to the individual to arrange pick up and/or delivery back home.

Schedule is subject to change. Guests will be notified as soon as possible. Cancellations can occur up to 24 hours prior to transfer.
