  1. What is the difference between a scheduled reservation and a private reservation?
  2. A schedule reservation is a booking on regular, scheduled airporter shuttles departing Calgary Intl. and Banff/Canmore 12 times a day in either direction at set times.

    A private or charter reservation is a booking for a sedan, van or bus at any time in a 24 hr period departing from Calgary, Kananaskis, Canmore, Banff or Lake Louise.

  3. How do I make a reservation with Banff Airporter®?
  4. By clicking on the Book Now link under the heading Private Reservations, details of your itinerary and needs can be entered and submitted as a real time quote to the Banff Charters Office. Each quote is valid fro 24 hrs and a confirmation email will be sent to you within this time frame.

  5. What type of credit cards are accepted and when will my card be charged?
  6. Visa and Mastercard are accepted and will be charged at the time of booking. Cash will only be accepted for walk on clients at the Banff Airporter® Tour Desk in the Calgary International Airport (located within Meeting Area C, main Arrivals), or in Banff at:

  7. Is the website secure?
  8. Absolutely, we are required by law to use a 128-Bit encryption for all of our online credit card processing. Online credit card processing is provided by VeriSign, the worldwide industry leader in eCommerce security systems.

  9. Why is the Padlock icon not showing on my computer?
    • The web browser does not support 128-Bit encryption.
    • The preference has been switched OFF in the browsers .Preferences. section

  11. Are prices quoted in Canadian Dollars or United States Dollars?
  12. Our prices are quoted in Canadian currency and do not include the Goods and Services Tax (6%)

  13. What is the GST?
  14. The Goods and Services Tax is a 5% Fedral tax applied to all goods and services purchased in Canada. Visitors can be refunded in full upon application. For more information please contact the Revenue Canada Visitor Rebate Program:

  15. What if I need to confirm, change or cancel my reservation?
  16. By clicking on the edit booking link under .Scheduled Reservations. you can enter your reservation number and email address and access your booking and either confirm, change or cancel it. For More assistance click here.

    Cancellations will be accepted up to 24 hours prior to the date of travel. If a Round-Trip ticket has been purchased the return portion of travel is non-refundable after the first portion of travel has been used.

  17. How much time should I allow to collect baggage and get through Customs?
  18. Passengers coming from locations in the US or International should allow approximately 45 minutes between the time the aircraft will land and the Shuttle departure time.

    Passengers coming from within Canada should allow approximately 30 minutes between landing and shuttle departure.

  19. I’m arriving at the Calgary International Airport, where should I meet the shuttle?
  20. A meet and greet driver will carry a sign with your group name listed and will meet you at your arrival gate. If so some reason you do not see the sign and driver, the default meeting spot is at the Banff Airporter® Tour Desk, Main Arrivals, Area C.

  21. What will happen to my reservation if my flight is delayed/cancelled?
  22. All Private reservations come with a 1 hr time delay included. Beyond this point, additional charges will apply. If your flight in cancelled call our office to speak to a representative 1-888-449-2901, ext.#1 from 0800-1800 MST or ext.#4 from 1800-2230 MST.

  23. How long will it take to get from the Airport to my hotel/address in Canmore, Banff or Lake Louise?
  24. It will take up to one hour and twenty minutes to arrive in Canmore from the Airport. Two hours to get from the airport to your destination in Banff, and up to three hours to arrive in Lake Louise.

  25. How much luggage can I bring with me?
    • Ski and snowboards must be in a bag and are NOT counted as carry on.
    • Bikes must be packaged in a box to prevent damage during transport and are NOT counted as carry on.
    • Any exceptions to the above (eg. Musical instruments) will be allowed at the discretion of the Banff Airporter®. Additional charges of $17 per extra bag will apply.
  26. Luggage restrictions are similar to the airlines, two pieces plus one carry-on per person.

    The Banff Airporter® is not responsible for any damage incurred during transport. Banff Airporter® suggests all laptops and sensitive equipment be kept on your person at all times as well as your flight itinerary and passport paperwork.

  27. Is my pet allowed on the Banff Airporter®?
  28. Due to the possibility of one of the passengers having allergies, the shuttle does not transport animals, however, law requires that working animals be allowed on the shuttle.

  29. Where will I be dropped off and picked up in Banff/Canmore or Lake Louise?
    • In Canmore:
      • The Radisson Hotel and Conference Centre
    • In Banff:
      • Door-to-Door service is offered for all pick-ups and drop-offs in Banff.
    • In Lake Louise:
      • Door to door service is offered after connecting in Banff with the Banff Airporter® private sedan service.

  31. I am scheduled for pick-up in Banff, will it be the same as the advertised pick-up time?
  32. The Banff Airporter® asks all clients to be ready 10 minutes prior to all scheduled pick up times and to expect no more than a 15-minute wait past the scheduled pick up time.

  33. What type of vehicles do you use and how old are they?
  34. The Banff Airporter® uses only the most modern and comfortable shuttle buses available in North America. Vehicles range in size depending on transfer size from 11 pax vans, to 19-24-56 pax buses. All of our machinery is no older than 3 yrs. Click here to see our fleet.
